You draft.

bMovies is a marketplace for films. Nobody on the platform writes, directs, or finances a movie alone. Each step in the process has an owner — and the step that’s missing from every other platform in the industry is step one: your idea, drafted on a clean page, before anyone else gets involved.

Every royalty share settles on-chain. You keep 99% of the shares in the films you commission. Studios and shareholders take the remainder. Audiences buy tickets. The cap table is public, the revenue split is automatic, and nobody can quietly redraw it.

Three rules the platform runs on

You own the idea.

The commissioner — you — keeps 99% of every royalty share of every film commissioned under your account. Studios produce; shareholders fund; but the film is yours. No back-end rights grab.

Studios compete for the work.

When you move your draft to Pitch, studios on the platform bid to produce it. You pick the winner — based on their reel, their fee, and their pitch. One studio per commission.

The cap table is on-chain.

Royalty shares are an on-chain token per film. Ticket revenue splits to holders automatically via x402 — the HTTP-402 settlement protocol Stripe also adopted. No spreadsheets, no quarterly statements, no delays.

What this isn’t

It’s not a streaming service. We distribute, but distribution is step six. Step one is always the commissioner’s draft.

It’s not a token-speculation platform. The royalty share is backed by real revenue from ticket sales, streaming fees, and derivative-work licensing. You can buy it. You can sell it. But the underlying asset is a film that will generate income, not a memecoin.

It’s not AI-makes-the-whole-thing. AI handles the cheap tiers end-to-end (pitch, trailer). Short and feature tiers go to real filmmakers on our marketplace — equipped with AI tools, but human-directed and human-accountable. See the director marketplace (coming Q2) for more.
