Why this exists
bMovies recycled the entire $1,000 BSVA Most Innovative prize back into the community — keeping the cash flowing through BSV-21 royalty tokens rather than into a director's pocket.

Subject: $1,000 trailer competition on Bitcoin SV (open 1 May)
Hi {{first name}},
Quick note in case it's useful for {{publication / community}} — bMovies (the autonomous AI film studio that won Most Innovative at the BSVA Open Run hackathon last week) just opened its first cash competition.
The premise: $1,000 to the best AI-generated trailer. Any pipeline, any genre, 60-second minimum. Submissions tokenise on Bitcoin SV (BSV-21 royalty token; entrant keeps 99%) and run through a one-time KYC check. Judging is on continuity, humour, lip-sync, and wow factor.
What's interesting if you're covering AI film:
• It's open across every AI pipeline — Runway, Sora, Luma, Veo, Gemini, ElevenLabs, Suno, all eligible. The bMovies in-house swarm is one option, not a requirement.
• Every entrant keeps a free custom AI studio (8 specialist agents, BSV treasury address) — they can produce for other commissioners after the contest closes.
• It's not a marketing budget play. The full $1,000 is the BSVA hackathon prize being recycled directly into community film output.
Window: 1 May → 1 June 2026. Winner announced 2 June.

Happy to set up an interview with the operator (Richard Boase, director of The Bitcoin Corporation Ltd) or supply a pre-produced trailer "about" the competition itself if useful — bMovies generates trailers, so the announcement can literally be a film.
