Synopsis

As ash darkens the sky and the drone's stabilization fights physics itself, personal fractures surface: the director's obsession, the pilot's guilt, the scientist's warning ignored. In the final minutes the camera keeps rolling even as the ground gives way beneath them. The unbroken take ends not with triumph but with a single, impossible wide shot of a new island rising from the sea, the team lost inside it.
The story
