Synopsis

In the isolated fishing village of Black Hollow, widow Elena Voss tends her failing lighthouse when strange lights descend and an obsidian entity materializes on the shore. It leaves cryptic symbols in the sand that match drawings her missing son made before vanishing twenty years ago. As the creature gently excavates the cliffs, Elena realizes it seeks not destruction but the buried bones of its offspring, conceived in a long-forgotten encounter that also produced her child. The town begins to fracture as neighbors report dreams of stars calling them home and Elena's own body starts showing alien markings. With the help of a skeptical NOAA scientist and her estranged daughter, she must decide whether to help the visitor complete its mournful ritual or destroy the last link to her lost boy. The entity reveals that what was left behind is not just remains but a living promise that could heal both species or annihilate them.

EXT. BLACK HOLLOW LIGHTHOUSE - NIGHT

Fog rolls thick across jagged cliffs. The lighthouse beam cuts through the mist in rhythmic sweeps. ELENA VOSS (50s), raincoat flapping, stands at the railing staring at the churning sea.

A low hum vibrates the air. Elena’s lantern flickers. She turns as wet sand below begins to glow with intricate symbols.

ELENA
Not again.

She descends the slick stairs. At the waterline, an obsidian silhouette rises slowly from the surf, water streaming off its angular form. It tilts its head, studying her. Elena’s breath catches.

ELENA
You came back.

The entity extends a slender limb and traces the same symbol her son once carved into the lighthouse door. Waves crash. The hum deepens.
