Synopsis
Bass Vance shuffles through fluorescent-lit days at the city aquarium, polishing tanks and muttering his signature greeting to confused coworkers. When his mantra unexpectedly goes viral via a tank-cam livestream, it ignites a citywide "Pwease" movement that threatens the aquarium's soulless new corporate owners. As fame collides with his fragile inner world, Bass must choose between fading back into the bubbles or letting his oddball positivity rewrite the rules of Monday forever.
The story
Bass Vance endures another grim Monday polishing glass tanks until a misfired tank-cam captures his cheerful mantra, turning him into an overnight meme. His bland coworkers begin adopting the phrase, much to management's horror.
Corporate suits attempt to trademark and sanitize his message while Bass's growing fanbase stages absurd public sing-alongs; a budding romance with the rebellious marine biologist and clashes with a cynical rival bassist force him to confront his fear of real connection.
Bass leads a chaotic aquarium occupation that reunites estranged families and colleagues through collective "Pwease" rituals, ultimately rejecting fame to return to his quiet tanks with newfound purpose and love.

Cold open
INT. CITY AQUARIUM - MAIN TANK ROOM - MONDAY, 7:42 A.M. Fluorescent lights hum. BASS VANCE, 42, soft-spoken with a faint mustache, methodically squeegees the inside of a massive grouper tank. His reflection warps across the glass. BASS (to the fish) Happy Monday. Pwease and thank you. A bubble rises. The grouper stares. Bass smiles faintly, then freezes as he notices a tiny red light blinking on a mounted tank cam. BASS (whisper) Oh no. Not again. He reaches for the cam just as the building's PA crackles to life. PA VOICE Vance, break room. Now. And stop talking to the fish.
