Synopsis

Alex Kline, a mid-level data analyst in Tel Aviv, becomes convinced that the stunning woman flirting with him at a rooftop bar is a Mossad operative running a classic honeypot. Convinced he’s one wrong move from disappearance or blackmail, he unleashes an increasingly unhinged series of countermeasures: burner phones, fake identities, dead drops, and elaborate escape routes that turn his quiet life into a one-man spy thriller. As his antics draw real attention from actual intelligence players, Alex’s paranoia proves half-right. The woman, Talia, is indeed Mossad—but her target is someone else entirely. Now caught between two agencies and his own ridiculous web of lies, Alex must outrun both the people chasing him and the mess he’s made of his life. What begins as frantic avoidance becomes a high-stakes game where the only way out is to stop running and weaponize his own chaos.

The story

Act I

Alex’s ordinary routine shatters when he spots Talia at a bar and immediately assumes Mossad entrapment. He begins small evasions that snowball into quitting his job and faking online deaths.

Act II

His amateur countermeasures attract real surveillance from both Mossad and a rival service. Talia closes in while Alex’s best friend and an unlikely CIA contact force him to confront whether any of this is real.

Act III

Cornered in a desert safe house, Alex turns his own ridiculous playbook against the actual spies, exposing the real target and walking away with his freedom—if not his dignity.

INT. ROOFTOP BAR - NIGHT

ALEX KLINE (33), rumpled suit, nurses a warm beer while scrolling his phone. Across the bar, TALIA (30s), effortlessly elegant, locks eyes with him. She smiles. Alex freezes.

ALEX
(to himself)
Nope. Not today, Mossad.

He downs the beer, stands, and speed-walks toward the elevator. Talia moves to intercept. Alex panics, ducks behind a waiter, then bolts for the stairwell. He trips, recovers, and sprints down three flights.

EXT. STREET - CONTINUOUS

Alex flags a taxi, jumps in.

ALEX
Drive. Anywhere but here.

In the side mirror, Talia watches from the curb, amused.

Why now
