Synopsis
In South Central LA, slacker Jamal Jones just wants to finish one last Friday shift and get paid. Instead, a simple package drop ignites a chain of freak accidents that pick off friends, rivals, and neighbors one by one. As the body count rises, Jamal realizes the only way out is to keep everyone alive until midnight. With his stoner best friend Smokey, tough ex-girlfriend Deja, and a ragtag crew of locals, Jamal turns the block into a frantic obstacle course of collapsing scaffolds, exploding grills, and drive-by curses. Old beefs get buried fast when death plays no favorites. By nightfall the survivors discover the curse feeds on their secrets; only radical honesty and unity can break the loop. One last stand on the basketball court decides whether Friday ends in survival or total wipeout.
The story
Jamal starts his cursed Friday shift delivering packages; first freak death shocks the crew and hints at a pattern. They laugh it off until two more neighbors die in impossible ways.
The group barricades the block as disasters multiply; betrayals surface and Smokey nearly dies, forcing Jamal to confront his own cowardice and rally the survivors.
At midnight on the court, Jamal sacrifices himself in a final trap, breaking the curse; dawn reveals the living have a second chance to rebuild their fractured community.

JAMAL One more drop and I'm done. Rent's due, man. SMOKEY Friday the 13th, bro. Bad juju. You shoulda called in. They pull up to a corner store. Jamal grabs a package. As he steps out, a scaffold above groans. A worker slips. Jamal dives aside just as a metal beam crashes where he stood. Smokey stares, blunt frozen mid-roll. SMOKEY (CONT'D) Told you. This Friday's different. Sirens wail in the distance. Jamal's phone buzzes: NEXT DELIVERY - URGENT.
