Synopsis
Mild-mannered accountant Ray Malone wakes up on Father’s Day expecting burnt toast and a necktie. Instead he stumbles onto a smuggling ring using his neighborhood’s annual block party as cover. Dragged into a whirlwind chase across suburbia, Ray must outwit assassins while keeping his skeptical wife and two kids alive. With every ridiculous dad skill—parallel parking, grill mastery, guilt trips—Ray transforms from overlooked provider into the hero his family never knew they needed.
The story
Ray’s perfectly average Father’s Day breakfast is interrupted when he finds a mysterious package meant for the neighbor; by lunch he’s being hunted.
A frantic afternoon of car chases, school pickups under fire, and improvised weapons leads to a crisis of confidence when his family learns his secret past.
At the block party climax Ray uses Father’s Day rituals to outsmart the villains, earning his family’s respect and a real celebration at last.
